Imagine being stupid enough to purposely make yourself the most recognizable member of a crowd that's committing a serious crime. As we all know by now, you don't need to be smart to be a Trump supporter.
In fact, that might just disqualify you.
You simply need to be willing to believe anything con artists tell you and, at least in this person's case, have a desperate need for public attention.
The horned man in question is none other than 32-year-old Jake Angeli, a familiar face at pro-Trump rallies and a purported QAnon conspiracy theorist sometimes referred to as the “QAnon Shaman,” according to the Arizona Republic’s website. In the past year, Angeli has been spotted — often in costume — at various demonstrations across the country, including a Washington D.C. protest after Joe Biden’s presidential win in November.
Here's some further information about this character.
- He was born Jacob Anthony Angeli Chansely in 1988.
- He is not of Native American descent.
- He hails from Phoenix, Arizona.
- He is an actor, a voice-over artist, and a singer.
- He is a QAnon supporter.
There is no question at all that he might be an Antifa plant. Prior to yesterday's attack on the Capitol. he attended other pro-Trump rallies:
On September 20, 2019, he attended a rally at the Arizona State Capitol Building to join the march in solidarity with climate activism groups across the U.S., The Arizona Republic reported.
On February 20, 2020, he attended a rally at the Arizona State Capitol and Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. He was shirtless, his face was painted black and white, he put on his head a fur bonnet with two horns and he held a sign that read, “Q Sent Me.”
Trump personal attorney, Giuliani spoke at Wednesday’s “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington. He told thousands of fired-up pro-Trump protesters that they should contest the election results via “trial by combat.”
Back in May 2020, he drew some local attention in Arizona
Here’s part of my interview with Jake Angeli, the 32-year old man I previously posted about, who thanked the president @realDonaldTrump and Q.

On August 12, 2020, he attended a rally at the Arizona State Capitol to support the reopening of schools in the midst of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Here is a photo of Jake (without his shaman outfit) shaking hands with one of the instigators of yesterday's insurrection, Rudy Giuliani.
Shortly afterward, thousands of rioters stormed the police barricades and entered the Capitol building where senators were counting Electoral College votes. Proceedings were immediately halted.
Members of Congress were then forced to flee to safe zones while their congressional offices were vandalized. Four of the protestors died in the violent clashes with law enforcement.
A dark day in American history, thanks in part to people like Jake the attention-starved shaman.
As one Black Lives Matters supporter commented on Twitter:
"In summary, black children holding candy and toys have been shot and killed in their neighborhoods. A bare-chested white man in Viking furs and horns with a bulletproof shield was just comfortably seated in the VP's seat in the chambers of our capitol. I. am. disgusted. We can only hope that the FBI will soon be paying a visit to QAnon Shaman's home just to let him know there is a heavy price to pay for domestic terrorism.
