LIVE: Public Hearings of the January 6th House Select Committee Continues

by Nomad

The second House Committee hearing on the January riots at the Capitol will deal primarily with evidence that Mr. Trump knowingly spread the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him in an attempt to overturn his defeat.

Among those testifying will be Chris Stirewalt, a former Fox News political editor who has criticized former colleagues for creating the atmosphere that led to the attack.
Also scheduled to testify is Bill Stepien, Trump's campaign manager from July 2020 through the election.

Day Three of the House Committee hearings will focus on "President Trump's relentless effort on Jan. 6 and in the days beforehand to pressure Vice President Pence to refuse to count lawful electoral votes."
It is scheduled to begin at 1 pm EST.

According to CBS:
Pence's former counsel Greg Jacob and conservative jurist J. Michael Luttig, who has advised Pence, are scheduled to appear. Two people familiar with Luttig's expected testimony, who were not authorized to discuss details of the hearing, told CBS News that he is expected to tell the committee "America's democracy was almost stolen from her."
